    GPU Clocking little over half maximum

    My GPU isn't clocking up when I load up games. I get terrible framerate and GPU-Z shows the sped as being 275, it should be 475.

    I would switch drivers and see what happens then and make sure you are on high performance. Other than that I don't know what else to do but more information (like gpu, driver etc...) would help you get better answers.

    Edit: Also have you installed in any new programs like Notebook Hardware Control or something to maybe overclock that is overriding your normal clocks for some reason?
