FINALLY. the gadget of my dreams. Been looking for a gpu temp gadget that doesnt require any other downloads or a crap load of configs! Thanks so much for posting this!
Wish it displayed my other gpu at the same time though -
its just a shame it doesnt have a black background. my entire pc has a black theme including gadgets, except this one, which has only blue green purple or red
-
-
I'm using this gadget except it doesn't seem to work.. shows fan speed/temp etc as 0.

Good find

Use MSI afterburner.
Can do OSD, and also display your temps on your system tray.

Nice find. Now if I can only find a matching one for my CPU.

Go to nvidia inspector website and get gpu and cpu orb gadgets if youre on nvidia.
Those are really amazing gadgets. -
Here is another one!
Most Wanted and Popular Windows 7 and Windows Vista Gadgets -
I run this...it is pretty cool. Not all of the info displays for every GPU, but it shows temps, speeds, and memory use for mine.

suport is likely better for older and nvidia card everything except vram usage is suported
-
good link, thanks for the info.

Does anyone know why this isn't working for some people ( and myself >? )

Very cool gadget, works fine with my notebook.
On a slightly related note, here's an Intel gadget for measuring Turbo Boost (works with i5/i7 processors only):
Processors — Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor -
verify if you can change the gpu in the option the gadget was showing 3 gpu when there are 2 in my system and one was giving false report
-
I read on some other forums that it doesn't support some mobile GPU. That is probably why your temp doesn't show up. Bummer.

The last update of this gadget was May 12 of last year. Any GPU released after that date is not going to be supported.
-
Yeah, that one is outdated. Try this GPU Meter Gadgets, although it doesn't seem to work in my case where the only option is my integrated GPU. Maybe it'll be Intel friendly.
-
Actually, I just downloaded the gadget and it's reading my 460m fine, so must not be working for another reason. Maybe driver, hardware vid, or I dunno?
-
Ohh okay, i thought I did something wrong when installing it. Thanks guys for the inputs.
EDIT: @dkillone I don't know why the gadget doesn't read my GPU, although I've tried another software (CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro) which reads both the temperature of my CPU and GPU. -
I see you have a G73SW as well, weird it works for me and not you. However, I wouldn't sweat it, I prefer to use programs such as Hardware Monitor, so since it is reading in there, you should be fine. Just curious though, what driver are you on? I'm running the 275.27beta drivers.
