    Sorry... on a thread rampage I guess. So far you guys have been 2/2... very happy! One more question. I know I can check my temps in my Nvidia driver, but is there a program I can keep open to monitor temps, or maybe (hopefully) a sidebar gadget?

    Ntune and ati tool can monitor GPU temps. I doubt there's a sidebar tool.

    Unfortunately I don't think there's a gadget YET. Either way unless you are overclocking it won't really matter, and the overclocking tools usually let you monitor them also.

    Well, with no overclocking, it's saying my GPU is running 70 degrees steady. (8600GT) Is that weird?

    Everest supports gadgets but its not freeware...might have a trial ver. tho. But most others who dont have gadget , have temps on the taskbar so that's just as good ie. Rivatuner
