Hey guys I have a quick question regarding the clock speeds in my Acer 8204's X1600. It says:

    Core Clock in MHZ: 473
    Memory Clock in MHZ: 468

I have no idea whether this is especially high or low, or right in the middle. Could someone fill me in?

Also, since the only games I really play are Command and Conquer Generals and Americas Army, which run flawlessly on my desktop's Nvidia FX5200, lol, could I safely use ATI Tool to underclock the GPU so it doesnt get so hot when I'm playing these games.
NHC says my processor gets to 61C when I play the games, but could the GPU heat be contributing to it? I dont want my laptop always running so hot, although apparently it's target CPU temp is 50C.

I moved this to the Graphics card forum. You will get more responses here.

I don't know about the clocks for that card, but I am sure someone will help out. :)

Those clocks are about normal. Its a little bit underclocked but not too much.

It'll automatically underclock itself even more if you turn on powerplay and consume much less power and make far less heat.

I also want to add that some manifactures underclock their videocard so it developes less heat (because their cooling solution isnt very good)...Acer may also have done that.
