    GPU hits max clocks during browsing/youtube?

    Hi.

    Not sure why this is happening, but randomly my GPU will go up to max clocks causing the temps to hit mid 80s just while browsing. It has something to do with firefox since it goes back to normal once I close firefox. I think it could be youtube or flash player related. Any tips?

    Which flash version are you using? And which notebook/graphic driver version? You have two in your sig.

    The asus. using latest Nvidia drivers. Latest flash version too.

    Try disable hardware/video acceleration in flash/youtube like H.A.L. 9000 hinted.

    It happens here on my desktop and on my laptop as well if hardware accelleration is enabled.

    Note that some browsers actually switch to 3d profile like chrome. Its a normal thing, at least for me, it always been like that.

    weird. My clocks with chrome are not on full 3D but the clocks when videos are being played.
