    Specs are in sig.
After gaming for an hour or more, my gpu will idle at ~75* celcius. It slowly cools down, like 1* every 2-3 minutes but normally it goes right back to ~65*c after gaming. I turned off powermiser because it gets reset when the gpu goes past 100*c (It happens at random times, not because of load or anything, its wierd) and then my temp stays at ~80*c while gaming with bad frame rates. Sorry if you don't understand what I am trying to say, hard to explain.

How long has it been doing this? Are you giving it proper ventialation? Has any specific things happened to the laptop since or before?Recent Drier update?

Make sure you have latest drivers... It sounds like on of your fans could be breaking or broken.

Fan is running while the temps are like this. Upgraded to 181.00 drivers last night, it might just be the cooling pad. Made of wood with holes drilled in it. Looking at a USB powered cooling pad. Fans run fine, work at 100% when 90+
Vents are clean, so I will just look into a cooling pad.

It started happening after I turned powermizer off. I don't know if that affects anything, the clocks seem to be at the performance 3d clocks, is there anyway to fix this without affecting gaming? (Will try turning powermizer on for battery only, might change the clocks, reporting back in ~3 minutes)

Ok, that will be interesting... :D

As for a cooler, i recommend the Enermax Aeolus CP001 (Review in sig) or NZXT Cryo LX. ;)

Ok, problem is the gpu isn't downclocking to low power 3d. Any ideas on how I can fix this? (I was looking into the Enermax Aeolus CP001 after reading your review)

But have temps always hit 100C while gaming, making your gpu downclock, or have they gotton progressively worse over time?

Well, i can tell you how to do a downclock, but not so you can switch and stuff with battery or at a certain tempuature. So, i dont think i can help you there, unless you want to do a plain downclock. :(

Good, glad the review helped you. :D

Well, downclocking might not have been the right term. It works more like the Intel SpeedStep system. There are 3 settings, performance 3d, low power 3d and standard 2d. It is staying at performance 3d when it needs to go down to low power 3d. I have no idea why it is doing this.
