Just got my m17x r2 in yesterday and I was wanting to know if there is a GPU temp gadget for the ATI 5870m crossfire? I found several on the internet that did not work correctly. Any one currently using one on your laptop?

Hmm, what is a temp gadget? :) I use hwmonitor or GPU-Z to monitor temperature.

You can also try using both and see if they both show the same... GPU-Z sometimes shows strange things, just fyi. Cheers :D

What kind of gadget are you looking for? An official Windows gadget: Gadgets - Windows 7 features - Microsoft Windows ?

HWmonitor doesn't always detect the MR5870 temps.
I prefer HWinfo32. Detects all the temps, min/current/max and provides all the info you may need about your hardware.

Latest CPUID Hardware Monitor will detect 5870s but HWinfo32 should be a better gadget.. more info too... basically does CPU-Z job and more...
