I've never had any issues with GPU-Z crashing before. Wondered if anyone else is having issues.

I had 0.7.2, updated to 0.7.3 and it crashes too. (I assume 0.7.2 was working previously.)

I've got a Geforce GTX 680m with Optimus turned on, Ivy Bridge Intel video.

I launch it, it seems to run for a few seconds, then locks up and Windows 8 pops up a dialog box.

If I'm remembering right, I just let Windows Update deal with the Intel video, it's running 9.17.10.2849, installed when I installed 8 back in March.

My Geforce 680m is kept up to date with non-beta drivers, currently 327.23

Good thought. I tried it and weirdly it's still not working. I don't know what the deal is, as I've never had problems with GPU-Z before!

Newer drivers crash it for some reason. It's been crashing for me in the last several driver releases. Gotta wait for the author to update it.

Edit: Actually, I think you have to manually set GPU-Z to use the NVIDIA card in your NVIDIA control panel.

Just a heads up, the new GPU-Z v0.7.5 fixes the crashing problem for Optimus
