Anyone here played GRAW? Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter?

Here with my 5672 (1.66 core duo, 1gb ram, x1400) I get 7 fps with everything high, and 18fps with everything low as low can be. Ridiculous!

I can play oblivion very well, why this stupid game I can`t?
Well, is anyone having the same problem??

Sorry that I do not have help. Butthat is so cool that you can play oblivion on the x1400!! I heard it would be slow to play oblivion on the x1400. I may rethink the x1400 card! :)

Have you turned off anti aliasing and trilinear filtering etc. i think that's what they're called. They will improve fps greatly when turned off. I need to turn them off on CS:S for good framerates

yes, oblivion plays pretty well, medium settings, 800x600, 20-30 fps +-
and it looks decent, but if you really want to play oblivion you should look for x1600, 7600 or 7900 etc

graw: everything on, highest settings possible = 5fps
graw: everything off, at lowest settings possible = 15fps

some are saying that i need to update my graphics driver, im using DHz_0point (or something like that) 6.4 drivers, what driver is should i install? The one from ati that is not mobile, cos the mobile is very old and dont support x1400, the one from acer is even older.

    so??

    btw: css runs great here

wow i may just get a laptop with the x1400 instead of paying 300 more for same specs and a x1600.

I loaded the demo of this on my previous dv8000t with a go 7400 and had similar performance. There is an old thread on here somewhere where many people comment about the fact that this game is extreamly demanding on graphics hardware.

Also the fact that GRAW, while a good game, is still another poor port from the xbox 360 and is not optimized for PC at all. It's a shame, because the graphics could be better as the gameplay would not feel as limited (even though it is a good game) if the designers had taken a bit more time to port it over.
