    Hello!

I have just downloaded the 1.7gb demo of GRAW  .... the only problem is that the game keeps freezing for half second every time i change my field of view, in other words, everytime i move suddenly to right or to left with my aim.

    I have a Core 2 Duo, 2ghz, 2048MB ram, and the 8600GT with a 160gb 5400rpm hard Disk.

How can i solve this problem?

BTW: im running the game at everything to highest except physics and textures that are locked to medium (i dunno why :( ) and at 1024x768

Did you try running everything on the lowest? And perhaps your download was corrupted. Try downloading and reinstalling it. I haven't tried the demo, but the actual game is running fine.

very odd that your having this problem with the 8600M GT... i downloaded the demo on my last laptop (which had a 8600M GS) and i had the EXACT problem that you are having, it would just stutter whenever i moved for like a half second. well i found the answer lied in my graphics card in that it did not have enough DEDICATED memory and the GS was using shared... well i got a new laptop and it has a 8700M GT in it with the dedicated memory and it works perfect. i guess the problem was with shared memory and the GS. i'm not sure why your gt wouldn't run the game good.

even with everything set to lowest there is constant shuttering... sometimes it goes out of the game and said it run out of memory. :(

BTW, its just the demo, so cant install patches, but i dont want to buy a game that is going to offer constant shuttering.

GRAW 1 plays just fine on my Asus G1s. The only reason I stopped playing was because it was frustratingly hard.

GRAW2 plays fine on my system and I have the exact same specs (G1S, 2.2Ghz, 8600GT, 160GB 5400rpm HD) though I have 3GB RAM instead of 2GB.

There is no stuttering, and I'm running everything on high at 1400x900 resolution (btw, textures are locked at medium because the 8600GT only has 256MB dedicated memory - only if you have a 512MB card, you can up the textures).

I'm using the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go (the ones that came out for Bioshock) so maybe you could give those a try?
