Anyone a idea to mod the vBIOS of the GT 240M for a higher core VID to overclock some more? With Nibitor I can't change the voltage.

If you want to upload your vBIOS file I might be able to help you.

Also I don't know if you've heard about this but its possible to upgrade your laptop to something like the 5870m.

And where I can upload the file? In the forum? I already have the 5870M, but with the wrong vBIOS. If I get such a Programmer in germany I will try to flash it back. Otherwise I will sell it.

Yeah you can upload it in a .ZIP as an attachment

Fix the card.Maybe diffcult, because I'm from germany. On the internal display the picture was not correct, but on my TV it was right. That's why I flashed it,but to a ASUS vBIOS. The original vBIOS was a M17x A01 I think. Maybe the M15x vBIOS will work. I don't know.

Edit: Can I extract the vBIOS with GPU-Z?

What do you want to do with the vBIOS?

Yes you can extract it with GPUz

I was going to change the hex bits to a voltage higher than what Nibitor reads as supported.

I think I don't want to OC more, because I decided to buy a desktop and play games on the desktop not on my laptop.

Do you think there is more potential in that card? My 3DMark Vantage score is from 2128 up to 2738.

No one a idea? Can I get more performance? And will it work with more voltage?

The best easiest card is the 6770m by the way.

Yes, that's right, but I heard about that you can only get a picture on a secondary screen with this laptop.

Edit: Do you think that's right? I will ask this guy again.

Overvolting would be really great. Maybe I can hit the 700 MHz at core. Now my max. is 688 and 1000 at memory. I think niffcreature wasn't online the last days.
