    Hello everybody.. :hello:
I've recently bought an Acer v5 571g with an i5 3317u(1,7->2,6) and a gt 620m.I have 8gb o ram at 1333Mhz.So here is my problem,in the games I play COD MW3, NFS MW2, MOHW I have a constant frame rate of over 30 fps or 30 at mediu-high or high settings, but during gameplay gpu usage drops for 1,2 seconds and I get an annoying shuttering that's getting on my nerves.I've tried the lowest settings possible and it's the same , changed the newest drivers and the beta ones (clean install each time), overclocking and underclocking,my temps are at a maximum of 70-75 degrees(with overclock).
I don't know what to try next so please I need some help..I would gladly appreciate it :).
    This is what I get:

what are your cpu temperatures as demanding games can hit the low to mid 90c but no idea if that would affect your gpu to down spike.

try running intel extreme tuning utility on cpu and gpu and see how much throttling you get. find it in my sig below.

What drivers are you using? Have you tried updating to the latest drivers?

Also for some reason I have a strange feeling it's related to either the CPU speed spiking or hyperthreading.

If your BIOS supports the feature, then first try to turn off hyperthreading. That can be problematic for many games.

Secondly, download and install ThrottleStop (it's 100% freeware) and run your CPU at max Turbo speed while playing the games, and see if that helps. I've noticed pauses and spikes using a dual core with a 650m until I either disable hyperthreading or use Throttlestop to run at peak CPU speed.

I've tried the latest driver and the beta one.My BIOS doesn't have the feature to disable hyperthreading. :(.
Thanks for ThrottleStop I'll try to see how it woks with it
