Hello, I recently bought the GTA 4 complete pack on steam a day or two ago, and whenever I press "Play" a message box pops up that says "Installing: Steam SecuROM Activation." After a few seconds, the message box disappears and GTA 4 doesn't load. Does anybody else have this problem? Also, does anybody know a solution?

    Thanks,
    po1son

It takes me a few clicks (5 or 6) just to load the game

I've tried multiple times, but it's always the same.

While it's loading cancel it and run it again right after. I had to do that with some of my steam games.

Do you have internet explorer 9 beta installed?
If so this is the problem with securom.
    Uninstall IE9b

Although even after uninstal I have the problem of it saying I need vista service pack 1 blah blah blah.
To get around this launch the game from steam\steamapps\common\

Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV and use the LaunchGTAIV.exe to start the game. Set this as a link inside steam as a game start
