Is it just me or does the latest patch (6) make the physics and hitting people actually look at feel less "fulfilling"? Than before? Is this just a placebo effect from reading about the reduced quality of ped/human physics? Or are the physics actually different?

I can't comment on the physics, but performance went way down. I have to play at less than max settings to maintain a decent framerate, which I shouldn't have to do on a desktop with a Q9550 and an HD4890.
