Bought the game on sale for like 10 dollars and I have to say the performance is much worse than in GTA 4.

I remember spending hours tweaking GTA 4 to get it to work smoothly on my Laptop @ 1920x1200 with high settings.
Now I get good fps but only at 1280x720 at high settings and with worse quality than GTA 4.

Now I tried applying the same tweaks I had for GTA 4 on this game, but they aren't working.

Anyone know of a tweak guide for this game, I've searched for one and found nothing that improves performance at all.

It is the new shadow system. High in eflc is equal to very high in gta 4 before the last patches. Running very high shadows requires a card with 2+gb of video memory according to a developer.

with lower shadows, it plays as good as GTAIV for me, but with all the added stuff (better physics, vehicle handling & stability, and other minor fixes)
