I just recently heard about the ICEnhancer mod for GTA IV and decided I might want to try it out. I followed the instructions to install it but when I ran the game it wouldn't go past the RGSC login, it would launch GTA IV but it would sit at an eternal black screen. When I checked task manager , I saw the game just sitting there using 0% CPU and doing nothing. The hard drive light is on most of this time.

I figured this was due to the mod, so I uninstalled the whole game, ran ccleaner, and re-installed it (through Steam) and I get the same exact error. Next, I uninstalled/reinstalled my graphics drivers, again same error. They are the latest 11.8.

Finally, I restored an Acronis backup from a week ago, before I even attempted to install the mod (this is on my HTPC, which doen't get used all that much and the recording happens on its own drives which weren't affected) and STILL got the same error. I have not reinstalled Windows or done anything dratic since the lasst time the game WAS working on this computer, which was probably back in April or May. Something since then has caused it to completely refuse to load, and also when I tried to run EFLC I got the same black screen that doesn't go away.

    Any help?

EDIT: Never mind, after closing various programs it seems to be Radeon Pro that's causing my issue.
