Hoping someone can help me out. I purchased and installed GTA IV from Steam. Game is cool and runs great. However everytime I start my pc this annoying Rockstar Social Club login thing loads up and tries to stay running in the background. Is there anyway to get rid of this or at least stop it from loading at startup?

In the taskbar there will be an icon for it. Right click on the icon, and there is an option saying "Run when Windows starts". Disable it. Fixed.

That would be simple but it's not an option. You can either pin the program to the taskbar or close it.

I think using a mod called Xliveless allows you to completely bypass that.

That worked, thanks. Didn't realize I needed to start it to disable it. Thanks for the help
