I can't wait to see what its like. Any yea, the site will crash you know that, there is gonna be like 100,000 people trying to check it out.. at once! Its gonna give us some good details.

It automatically tried to load after timer hit 0. I tried again & again but can't get through

 

OK, I seen it ........ It's in NYC Looks very Authentic too. Wonders how much of NYC are included. I know Bklyn is, being they showed the Cyclone.

They didn't show the actual game play, just the Cinema stuff.

Graphics looks good.

I tried to save Video file, but the connection is so messed up on that site. (due to traffic of course)

It's also sounds like (guy's voice) your in control of a Russian guy this time. I could be wrong.

Seen it, it looks pretty sweet! I still haven't finished SA I just haven't had teh chance. Maybe one day when I have a better laptop and the inclination, i'll do both!

 

NYC?

So many games and films are set there, I virtually know the layout even though I've never been to America lol. OK, that may be a slight exaggeration...

 

it looks like the actual brooklyn bridge boardwalk...sick and I like how they took the MetLife building and edited it to say GetaLife. this is my second reason to get an X-box 360 by fall...the first being Halo 3

 

Yup, I actually recognize almost every clip in the trailer. It's going to be fun to cause kaos in place like Times square.

Even the Subway cars look real, I hope there is a realistic Underground Subway too.

 

PC users probably wont see that till 2008

Looks good.

But all the trailer really shows is just the dynamic environments we are starting to see in all game trailers.

 

If they add the housing projects and ghetto areas in NYC it will be fun as hell. Nothing like a late nite shootout in the South Bronx or Brownsville Brooklyn. Sniping drug dealers from the roof of a housing project. Beating up crackheads in an abandoned tenement in Harlem. Running from the cops on the west side highway. First NYC game to add the outer boroughs.

Or running a Vietnamese gang in Chinatown. Smuggling people. Escorts through midtown.

I really wish they would have added the graffiti trains though. Even though NYC pulls those trains from the line, locks down the cars in storage and cleans the **** out of them I miss them. Great vibe in the game they would have made. But a little graffiti better be scattered around the trains for realism, as the MTA can't stop it only clean.

I want to see a lot of the old weapons, plus a few new ones. Maybe a deployable Machine gun. Semi auto grenade launcher. Suppressors on some handguns. Replace "rocket launcher" with RPG. Extendable batons. After seeing Dead Rising i'm sure they can add a ****load of unique weapons too.

How about a graffiti mini game.

I caught the trailer a couple of nights ago on AOTS and it looked pretty nice. I am quite excited to add it to my collection of GTA games.

 

The nice thing about the trailer is that it is all in game... and it looks great considering the scale of the game. I feel this will be the best GTA if they pull it off.

 

Was wondering how the next GTA would look like visually, and I am definintely not disappointed. Always liked the cartoony look of the GTA series, and the updated graphics, while looking a lot more realistic, also has the same tongue-in-cheek humor and goofy looking character models of the previous series. They definitely did a great job design-wise.

As for the location, I'm glad they brought it back to NYC/Liberty City, having been a resident of Gotham for nearly a decade I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar sights. Especially looking forward to seeing if they do all 5 boroughs too.

 

What ended my debate for getting a PS3

If I don' end up buying a 360, I seriously hope R* will optimise the game for PC and not merely do a straight port.

it better come out for XP not vista...if it even does come out for PC...

 

So far it's only for Xbox 360 and PS3, but i'm sure it will come out for pc in like a year after it comes out.

 

Good point. It probably will be It would be a shame. I wasn't really that taken in by the last game. At the risk of being taken in by hype, GTA VI would appear to be a more worthwhile update in the series
