GTA IV on PC next month

How come I didn't read about this anywhere and only stumbled on an ad while going trough some random pc hardware magazine??? Or is it just that nobody care...

 

I for one don't care. Beat it on the 360 numerous times now.

Plus, so many actual new games are coming out, it's hard to care for something old. FarCry 2, Fallout 3, GoW2, CoD5...

EDIT: Notice the fact that every game now ends with a number. SAD.

 

i think Saints Row 2 will be betetr then it.

 

saints row 2 and gta4 are already out, so you could actually check them out and decide for yourself.

 

One of the main reasons behind the GTA franchise's unbelievable success is the extremely user friendly HUD, excellent radio stations, professional voice acting,free roam and the gameplay. On these aspects it is miles ahead of other copycats or clones like Just Cause, Saints Row, Scarface.

 

i agress that its miles better then JC and Scarface but not on Saints Row, i really njoyed Saints Row and sure it had a few minor issues but it was the first and was too be expected but i think Saints Row 2 will improve on this, really enjoy the character creation

 

Don't have a next-gen console so I can't do that. Anyway with that, FC2 and L4D, I can already hear my wallet cringe ...

 

i have played the 360 version of GTA 4, i wasnt really impressed it was okay but nothing special as everyone said it would be

 

I personally play both on 360 and give it a tie between the two.

 

I'm excited for all the mods the community will create for this just as the many mods created for the other GTA games released on PC. Tons of new vehicles, player models for starters, graphic mods, etc.

 

now this could mae or break the game for me.

any idea if Saints Row 2 will ahev mods?

when are they out in UK?

 

Rockstar never said it would surpass San Andreas in features. Looks to me like a new generation GTA 3.

Saints Row 2 is very different to GTA 4 it doesn't go for realistic at all and is more about mayhem and madness.

Things like being able to fly a UFO, ride a mini-moto, chuck people off cliffs etc lol. Its a lot more arcadey and less serious. I like both games but the only similarities are that you are a criminal and they are free roaming.

I like both as much as each other but for different reasons. I think SR2 missed out on the opporunity to put a really good cover system in though.

 

Yup, feel the same way. It's also cool that you can pick up heavy objects a throw them as far as possible. LOL

 

Oh im totally buying GTA IV. Remember this game got a perfect score from like everywhere *_*. Not to mention all the GTA games have been better on the PC so far.

 

I just hope I'll be able to run it on my laptop.

 

I haven't played it on Xbox or PS3 just because I can't stand consoles. Cumbersome controls are not for me, sorry. And I've given them a shot, a sincere shot. Just couldn't cope with the controls..

I'm waiting for GTA IV for the PC...

The PC GTA controls always suck.

 

Naaaaah I find them better than on console. More precise;I don't use the aim assist.

 

the only thing that was hard to do in the pc GTA's was fly in San Andreas with a keyboard.

 

pc control scheme owns. by the time u get a lock on a console, pc dudes would have already headshoted two.
but that rc plane is really a b*tch.

 

i guess that could be why i wasnt that impressed, everyone saying it was amazing, the best thing since slced bread - but too be honest it wasnt

 

I'm definately going to buy it for the PC.


I've played it before on console, but I don't have my own console right now so I'm gonna get it for the PC.
