it was announced by sony that GTAV is coming to next-gen consoles. on rockstar's new trailer, GTAV is coming to the PC this Fall.
-
I'm cautiously optimistic, after the horrible mess that was GTA IV. That said the newer consoles use modern PC architecture so..........
-
Probably needs octo core 5970X and 3x Titan Black to be playable LOL

Not to mention 80GB install, 32GB RAM and 8GB vRAM.

Plus SSD's in RAID 0 and don't forget to overclock everything.

Tempted to blow my money on pre-order tomorrow but the caution on this forum is infecting me.. Will get my hands on the game sooner or later though. Here's hoping it's as much fun as GTA SA.
-
I will wait until the modders have there way with it first. Can't wait to see this with realism pack on top of it.
-
Let the gimping commence!
-
After the Watch Dogs fiasco, I will never look at pre-release trailers the same way again.
-
Guarantee you 2GB vram will run beautifully on this.
-
It will be perfect in terms of optimisation i hope
It will require a GTX 670 + a quad i5, for recomanded config
Minimum is gonna be XBone config.. -
I'm in the who cares category, I never got into the GTA series but I hope it runs good for people that are.
-
GTA 3 was a complete blast, but I never finished one after that.
My best ever chase experience in a game was one of the gta3 missions. I chased that dude in car.. On foot.. I thought I had him once when the car flipped over and exploded but he got out and ran somehow.. Must have went on for 10 minutes at least.. -

Guess it's time to reinstall GTA IV, just for fun. Wonder how is it post GFWL...

Intel HD5000 graphics will be enough?

If they use Max Payne 3 engine I think we can expect good performance
-
It's a great game, look forward to picking it up on sale one day for PC... played it on 360 at release as I didn't want to wait years for the PC port, and even despite the poor performance and random stutters, it's a blast. In my opinion it's a significantly better game than Watch Dogs, hopefully they do a good job bringing it to the PC.
-
I'm cautiously optimistic. I won't buy it until the GOTY edition comes out, but since both MP3 and GTA5 use the same RAGE engine, it may stand a chance at being a decent port. -

Cool. I got it for my 360 but never finished. It was fun so I'll probably pick it up.

It's getting pretty crazy the amount of space these games are taking up. That's part of the reason I got a 1 TB drive, because "I'll never fill that up!" 5 games later...-eleventeen Gigs of space left...*sigh*
-
here's hoping the 780m can handle it!
-
Forget GTA V, Watch Dogs is where its at! If they can fix up the drivers you know lol
-
Was waiting for it to make its way to PC, should be interesting to see how the next gen consoles stack up against the PC version.
-
Glad they finally announced the PC port, but at the same time I dread it's gonna run so badly...
-
everyone expect the performance to be dead.. But lets stay positive
-
I am. I have to be, since my hardware is pretty old. Max Payne 3 was running fine.

I refused to buy this unless it was coming out on the PC so this is great news. I wonder how my GTX 680M 4GB will handle it.
-
bit late i'd say but better late than never!
nice to see pc getting some love -
Another high end game that I'm hoping to get my hands on it. I can't wait for the coming fall.
-
they are talking about 28 oct 2014 for the release date

Yeah, that makes sense.
It will be just as bad as Watch Dogs, BF4, and whatever else comes out in the beginning. But it will get better as time passes. -
I'm excited about this one... loaded up GTA4 on my laptop a few days ago and having a blast with it. Oddly never could get into Watch_Dogs, total snoozefest for me for some reason on that one, thought maybe I was tired of these open world type games. I was glad to see that wasn't the case

But still, it will be a welcome addition to PC games. Now I wish they would also port RDR... Yeah, not gonna happen...

I will probably pick it up on ps4 in a couple months
