    The game won't start and gives error massage "Grand Theft Auto V has stopped working". Neither safe mode nor Retry will help. After switching to power saving mode in CCC it will start without problem, but the Intel integrated graphics working and I have only 15-20FPS near 1366x most things on high. It is still enjoyable, but 30+ would be much more appreciated. I'm on the latest AMD driver for GTA 5. Do you experiencing the same with Intel + AMD?

    You friend said he had a problem on a desktop with a 760. The only way he could get the game running was to launch off Intel iGPU and switch to dedicated after. Something is definitely screwie with Optimus / Enduro / iGPU interfering.

    I have read that is a solution for Nvidia, but not for AMD. Damn my eyes are tired after an half hours of integrated graphics, too low FPS.

    Hier ditto. Fortunately lowering settings it is smooth on Intel HD4400 GPU, so whatever I play :).

    Disabling the d-gpu on launch then re-enabling it doesn't work?

    Have you got latest AMD drivers? I would update to the beta etc ASAP... Also in Enduro mode, you should have an option where you can select what GPU a program uses... For GTA V set the AMD one..

    Several people with Enduro/Optimus laptops having this problem. Try disabling the 7970m before you start the launcher then reenable:

    There's a discussion about it in the gaming-section, besides the growing GTA V-thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/gta-v-will-not-run-with-amd-discrete-graphics.774631/

    Yepp latest AMD driver. Once I start the game on Intel GPU, it will stay on it, even if I choose high performance GPU in CCC. If i start game with High performance GPU, game won't start. Other games are starting on high performance GPU, so not sure whome to blame, AMD or Rockstar?

    I'm in the same boat, lads. It's running only after I reinstall latest Beta drivers and reboot. Running in a 800*600 window, when I enable full-screen it doesn't scale like it did in GTA IV, how do I make it stretch to screen?

    Not much luck here too. Game will not launch on 'High Performance' mode. I'm a little disappointed.

    Rudlin, make sure you change directx version to 0 in settings.xml, and run the game in battery life mode - it will launch... with Intel graphics, apparently.

    It looks like Rockstar releasing a patch which might just help us see some GTA this weekend;
    • Fixed an issue where the GTAV Launcher would use an abnormally high percentage of CPU and sometimes crash
    Fingers crossed.

    It is official now a fix is coming, but its still frustrating to see support like that about 2 weeks after GTA 5's launch. Nice from both AMD and Rockstar! For me it was actually the last nails to the AMD's coffin, I decided to get a laptop with Nvidia 950M GPU. If anyone interested I'am selling the laptop in my signature.

    Great to hear from you Atom, i have the same problem. Look like AMD cards not good any more for games. Not a big problem though, because of much better efficiency of Nvidia cards I was planing the change to some short of maxwell long time ago. Which laptop are you buying with 850M?
