Hey! I have been looking at two laptops, each with respective cards. The rest of their specifications have been relatively similiar, but I'd like to know, which of these two GPUS is better?

I have done a bit of research, but could not find any definite information. I had read that the GTX 260 is NOT Dx11 compatible while the 6770 is (which I want to play my favorites games) but it has better performance.

Is there any driver, or update that makes the 260 Dx11 compatible? I don't have much experience with this?

    Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, no. The 260m cannot be made into a DX11 card because of its hardware design. DX10 is as high as it will go.

Both cards should be close in performance, so the HD6770m should be the way to go.

Thank you for the swift responses. That was what I was thinking, as there was not enough of a difference between the 2 to sacrifice that.

Also, the 6770 will probably consume a little less power than the 260.

It will probably consume a lot less power actually. 6770m is definitely the way to go, on par with the 4850.
