    Hello,

I have Clevo P150EM with 3720QM and GTX 680M. Can anyone with similar config tell me how it performs while running borderlands 2?

I tried playing with everything in high settings. FPS drops to 30-40 from 60 when there is intense firefights going on the screen.

    is this normal behavior?

You have 3720QM, a decent CPU. You could try letting the CPU do the PhysX instead and see if that helps.
EDIT: Nevermind. Seems that having the GPU do the work gives you a lot more frames. Gotta love Nvidia

Have you tried playing with the PhysX turned down or disabled? I had a similar issue and when I disabled PhysX altogether it was a MUCH smoother experience and the loss of PhysX was....really not that noticable (to me anyway). Id say try turning off and if you dont notice much change graphically stick with it and ditch the performance hit.

What renders PhysX? CPU or GPU?

i am not very good at this technical stuff. generally for a PC game, what does CPU do compared to GPU? when i go into graphics options, how would i know which settings affect CPU vs GPU?
