    GTX 680M OC is better ?

    Would GTX680M with OC able to out perform desktop HD 7950 ? or at least a close match ?

    Yes, a GTX 680m will perform somewhere in the field of a desktop GTX 670 (which is about 10% faster than a 7950) when OC'ed to it's fullest.

    That said, OC-ing a 680m is annoyingly not as easy as just using Afterburner: you need to unlock the vbios - not something everyone knows how or is willing to do.

    You do not need to unlock the Vbios to overclock a 680m in a clevo... with the stock vbios you are limited to +135 mhz core which still enables users to push 7200 3dm11 scores

    Some GPU's are locked though regardless of drivers used. The 680m's in the Clevo P370EM SLI config are locked. It requires the P2 state overclock method to work.
