I can't decide between two notebooks(same price) one has the 850m ddr3 and the other has 765m. The one with the 765m is a thicker laptop. Which card is better

Looks like they are about equal. Some games the 850M wins, some games the 675M wins.

    Compare the games here:
    GTX 850M

    GTX 765M

Thanks man ... How would you compare these to the 755m Sli (idk if they have the micro stuttering issue anymore or not?)

Yes. It makes sense in low-end cards where memory bandwidth doesn't really matter. I'm also surprised they used it with the 850M -- as of today, that's on the upper side of the mid-range.

The 755m SLI is above an 850m, and 765m in speed, I believe you're referring to a Y510p, which is a quite nice machine.
What prices are you getting? The mewer Y50 just came out with $999 starting options from memory, it has an 860m, which beats both, it's also lighter and thinner than the Y510p. :)

Thats exactly what I am referring to, I am getting 830 for the sli one. Eurocom electra 2 ( Clevo barebones based) has the 850m. Even though it is a DDr3, reviewers say that it preforms really good. on the other hand I have another choice with the with the 765m which is an extremely thick laptop. My budget cant go past 840 so i cant get the y50.., and where are you getting the 999 price?

    755M SLI > 850M > 765M

In order of performance, that's how it should be according to 3DMark11 scores.

Now you can decide what kind of laptop you want based on those GPUs. Like you said, the 765M is an extremely thick laptop, and I'd imagine the 755M SLI to be quite heavy.
