    I recently got a 970m from woodzstack 6gb model MXM and im trying to get the core past +135 but i cant seem to find any unlocked bioses for this GPu, i would like to unlock mainly the core clock and possibly voltage, im really trying to achieve +200 core.

    Of course it will. It is just a vbios mod nothing more.

    Vbios is nothing to do with the system bios. Only the card.

    You missed the bit where they said they bought the card from @woodzstack, so that means the card is a clevo card and therefore it has to be the clevo vbios.

    Ah, alright. Yeah, Prema's vBIOS would DEFINITELY work then. Nice catch!

    I asked the OP in a PM and they believe the vbios is dependent on the target system that the card is going into and that's not the case as it has always been about the card type itself. Since woodzstack sells only clevo cards then the clevo vbios should be used...there's no alienware specific vbios for a clevo card.

    The OP is unsure how this works and I have told them to speak with @TomJGX or even woodzstack as they have the same R4 model while I only have the AW17 R1.

    The flashing bit is easy but the initial setup on an R4 is something I cannot do as I don't have the hardware.
