That vBios has very low voltage (1.000V) and not every chip can take that at 1202 MHz. In the same forum thread I believe someone asked for a 1.025V vBios try to download and use that.

All of these vBioses are for modular (MXM) 8 gig variants of the GTX980m. It's not compatible with your machine. Contact "Klem" at Techinferno forum, he may be able to mod your vBios for you and guide you through the process if it was possible for your machine.

Make an account on Techinferno forums, find a slv7 thread with the 980M vBIOS' and there in the last page, Klem has most likely been active helping others with their vBIOS'.

Just quote him and explain your situation.

As @jaug1337 said ... Navigate to https://www.techinferno.com/index.p...ds-900m-series-overclocking-versions/&page=37 ... Make an account on this forum and in this same topic you will find a moderator called Klem ... Quote one of his posts with your requirement and ask him to mod your bios ... It is also worth it to check the same thread for an already modded bios for your machine because he modded a lot of these bioses and posted them already.

John mentions about a vBIOS of 0.95 volt and one of his posts when replying but the latter part has intrigued me.

He says "not the stolen version at the beginning of this thread". So is this the reason everyone left T|I, the Mod/Owner started to tamper with the vBIOS/sBIOSes of all the original mods ? Damn that's bad ! Real bad.

    Sorry for the OT, Thanks.
