A 570m can be overclocked easily to out perform a standard 580m but an overclocked 570m vs an overclocked 580m is no contest max overclock vantange score on 570m is around p17k were an OC 580m will easily see p18.5k+

My advice would be to wait for the new chipsets and GPU's to come out

The advice of 'waiting for new GPUs' never gets old, lol.

If you need something now, get it. There will always be a better setup the next day.

Realy, just wait, don't listen to people say that you don't have to wait. (unless you REALY,REALY need it now)

Kepler and 7000M are coming in two months and will be A LOT faster.
Not like the small increases from 4800M to 5800M andn 6800M.
6900M wasn't realy faster than the others too, it just had an abnormal TDP.
    Same goes for GT100/GT200/GT300/400/500 series.
In the next two months you will get both a increase in performance and lower TDP

This logic only works if the upcoming hardwares are 6+ months away.

You're right but in this instance, it's makes zero sense to jump it at this moment. It's a combination of die shrink, TDP and horsepower. Combine that with the timing and it's a no brainer.

Exactly. Times are completely different when we're right on the cusp of the new tech.
