Haven't seen it mentioned on NBR, but I wanted to let you guys know about a pretty neat service. Gaikai is streaming service which offers free 30 minute free trials of games. Currently, they're partnered with EA so their library is all the big EA titles. You don't have to set up or install any service, or create an account or login. You just hit play, and it runs in a browser utilizing Java. The service works amazingly well.

It does require a decent internet connection, but many people claim it runs better than OnLive does.

They do have a few non EA games to demo (ok, just 1). Each demo lasts 30 minutes. They have:

    • Dragon Age 2
    • Mass Effect 2
    • Battlefield 2
    • Dead Space 2
    • Bulletstorm
    • Crysis 2
    • The Witcher 2
    • The Sims Midieval
    • The Sims 3
    • Spore

    Plays pretty good for me.
