It got a lot of new features than thenver 1. You should give it a try.

Do you have to buy the full version for gaming mode to work or something?

It's freeware. Nobody's making a dime. Either way if you're running Vista or Win 7, and have >2GB RAM, then there's little to no issue at all. Just shut down the crap you might run at startup. Nothing is more frustrating than people complaining to me that their system is running really slow. Well I see they've got 1GB of RAM and a billion apps loading at startup. $40 for memory and one thorough cleaning later they're happy as a clam. All freeware software too. Damn, I should charge for what I do. probably cost at least $100 for Geek Squad just to do the system cleanup.

I do. You don't make a ton of money doing it, but your doing something you love, and you make a few extra bucks doing it too.

Except for family members. They always want something done for free.

I should. I keep putting off getting my A+ too. Just a week of dedicated studying and I know I could pass. I have my MCSA, working towards my MCSE, kinda just because I can. At least then I'd have some credentials. My problem is that I'm too squemish about charging because its usually a friend of a friend, or a friend of the family. I never charge family of course. Granted I should because they probably utilize a majority of my resources! :p

Just charge for you time, most problems are solved in a hour so I charge 20$ a hour. Take a look at what bestbuy charges and you won't feel so bad.

A+ can be a pain in the back side, they want to ask you dumb questions like how many pins are on a paralel cable, who seriously uses a paralel cable anymore....
