    Work Arounds.
Bad Company 2 - Xpadder profile for the game but it doesn't work well (Syberia)

I Bought fable on GFWL the other day and it doesn't seem to support.

I know it will be a big list by I hope we can keep it up to date with the newest games so those of that like to play on gamepads, in home theater situations or other have a nice quick and easy to access list before buying a game. Unless someone knows of a better list.

Nearly all new games, especially ones that are console ports, will support the controller natively. You can add to the 'native' list: Crysis Warhead, FarCry 2, and Bioshock.

This list will be huge btw, it might be shorter if you just put games on here that don't natively support the 360 controller.

Any GFWL title should support it.

For games that do not thats why there are programs like Xpadder.

Even though it's a console port, Bad Company 2 for PC does not support the use of a 360 controller. Found that out the annoying way when I tried to play it on my HTPC. There is an Xpadder profile for the game but it doesn't work well.

Yeah I was very disappointed when I had to play bad company 2 with a keyboard mouse. I found the pc controlls really akward.

Why? The mouse is faster with a lot more precision.

Not if I want to play it on my TV from the couch from time to time. KB/mouse is great when I'm sitting at my desk, but sometimes I want to just relax on the couch.

I can understand that, but I don't understand why rippeer thinks a mouse is "really awkward" for a fps.

Darksiders, Dark Void, Dead Space, Devil May Cry 4, Front Mission Evolved, Gears of War, Lost Planet, Metro 2033, Mirror's Edge, Resident Evil 5, Singularity, Transformers War for Cybertron and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

I'd also mention Assassin's Creed but the gamepad support is absolutely broken. A bloody shame seeing as this was one of those games that would benefit from proper gamepad support.

There's also partial gamepad support for Mass Effect. I believe this is about 90% complete and actually exploits the locked XBOX 360 UI that is in the PC version, but just not supported by the developers for the platform.

Becuase at the time I was using (I think) the MX revolution. So if went to knife a guy with middle click it would switch between regular scroll and hyper scroll which made it really akward to knife or switch weapons. That and I wanted to play it in my home theater and not my desk.

I don't think its akward in general, just at that time with that game and my hardware setup.
I love it got GTA. Whenever I decide to play GTA with a mouse and keyboard the shooting is so much easier and rewarding.
