    So im stuck at work, with a fast internet and an external Hard Drive

    so im looking for things to download, perticularly demos
    somthings to try out

    any recomdations

    Try the sacred 2 demo, its in german but not very difficult to get around.
    People with quest have a big question mark on them and the quests are pointed on the map with a blue marker...

    You can download it on the web site after switching english for german ...

    Are full games that are entirely free okay? Trackmania Nations Forever is an excellent free racing game.

    Company of Heroes (WWII RTS) and Rise of Nations (general RTS) are a couple that come to mind that have very good demos. The former requires a powerful video card. Age of Empires II (medieval RTS) has a fun demo, too - quite old by now but still fun.

    Devil May Cry 4 demo is decent fun for a short while, the built-in benchmark feature is fun to run.
