Hi, I'm after a bit of help with some games, my laptop is so slow with any thing 3D I'm starting to wonder if there is any games that I will be able to play on it.

So, I'm after any tips to help speed things up. I ran 3Dmark 2001, and I got 2500 points, now my desktop celeron 700 with a GF2 can get 5000+ so I can clearly see that some thing's not too right.

I also ran a memory bench mark, I think it was about 2Gb/sec, but it said that it was only runing at 32% efficency. Is there any way I can speed it up? It's DDR2 PC4200, but it's only running at 400Mhz. Now, on my desktop I would be able to tighten up the timings, but I don't know how, if I even can, do it on my laptop.

Any tips to speed things up, or any thing would get greatly appreciated.

I'm just a tad sad, and dissaapointed, that I can't seem to gat any 3D games working on it, well not playble :(

your 3DMark is too low, even with celeronM since your vga is integrated Ati X200. It's better than GMA900. Have you tried upgrade your vga driver? Perhaps it'll help.
Your memory speed is 400MHz because celeron M is only running at 400MHz FSB

Yeah, thats what I thought, it's very, very low. I have updated every thing, and that was a freesh install, I know the FSB was 400mhz, but I though I would be able to run better timings on it, but it looks like I can't.

    Thanks for you help :)
