yes i done that plus i got the patch, once i get it to load it plays smoothly, fast and clear, i just have to try to load it like 5 to 10 time untill it work... also i dont even have much install in this laptop cause i use it for mainly games i just recently did a restore and this game was the first to be install before other games and i still get the same problem from the first time i got it.

ps i have all the setting turn to the max on this game and still get to play it smooth, and fast .. after of course it loads lol

you keep putting the cd/dvd in the drive? or you keep trying to load it from My Computer? --please explain

make sure the disc is clean and has no scratches..

is this a copied disc, or a retail version?

    pb,out.

have you tried running it via my computer?

maybe there is a conflict with autoplay on your disc and your system? (unlikely, but possbile)..

maybe there is something wrong with the disc?

    pb,out.

Have you tried looking for a No-CD patch so you don't have to put the CD all the time?? Google for it. I use it with Kotor 1&2 and it works perfectly. Btw, my brother owns those games, I'm not encouraging piracy.
