I have noticed there have been many "Can you recommend me a game?" threads, so I made this one for future reference.
If you want forum users to recommend you a game, you can use the following format:
System specs:
Your processor, RAM, GPU, OS, etc.
Settings:
You want to play it on low, med or high settings?
Genre:
Strategy
Shooter
RPG
Simulator
Sport
Driving
Adventure
Action
MMO
etc.
Exclude:
Write games you already own, and should be excluded from recommendations.
Additional notes:
Tell us games you already played and like or something you especially like or dislike about games (e.g.: good plot is important, great graphics is a must have, MP is needed, etc.)
It's something similar to the "Can my notebook run it?" thread, but the other way round.

I´ll start:
System specs:
in sig.
Settings:
High at least. Max is better
Genre:
FPS
Action
Car Racing
Exclude:
POP:WW, GTA:SA, FEAR, Quake4
Additional notes:
Action: similar to POP:WW or GTA series
FPS: Single-player games, I don't do MP...
Car Racing: anything with good graphics and effects, that I can run smoothly on high settings.
I like violent games.
Thanks! -
Lots of games are coming out this month.
Fallout 3
FarCry2
GTA IV (November)
If you are dying to get something now.
Grid
Crysis Warhead -
How can games that aren't even released yet be recommended? They can turn out to be big disappointments (re: AoC, WO). I suggest trying to keep this thread to games that have already been released.
Besides, if this thread continues to get updated I bet every game in existence will eventually be listed here. ;p -
yes, that's the idea... also to give personal impressions and opinions about games we have played...
-
System specs:
Gateway FX7811
4 GB Ram
9800mGTS
Settings:
High
Genre:
Adventure, Let me just put out the games I have enjoyed the most. GTA, Mafia, Godfather, Sims2(house building only), WIC.
Exclude:
See above
Additional notes: -
Don't worry they will be good, if they are not you can kick me in the nuts.
-
I've got the XBox 360 original which was fun for a while but got repetitive fast. I wouldn't bother with the PC version.
I have high expectations for Fallout 3. -
these threads never last.
