    Anyways, want to get everyone's sentiment on games you would recommend without a second though. This will be useful for deciding on new purchase, ways to branch out of your normal genre, etc.

    please list a couple of games with short description of genre, interest points/reasoning of why this game is so great.

    My list:

    Witcher 2: RPG, Incredible graphics/atmosphere. One of the best protagonist in any game. Multiple ways to play the game, your choices HEAVILY influence outcome. Different choices lead to entirely different quests/explorable areas/storyline contingency/ending. Political Plotline with very mature themes of manipulation/assassination/betrayal/warring political interest, etc.
