Everyone, when playing games, what do you think makes the biggest difference in visual pleasure and performance. Also which settings usually is dependent upon graphics card memory (256/512/1024/2048)

    Example

If you play DAO with a gtx260 1024, do you get better look and performance with higher object settings vs texture or vice versa?

I think this is a good conversation. I think we all know each game is different how it impacts our system and video card.

    Best Wishes,

    StevenX

texture eats more when it comes to general effects, especially aoe ones, fire and so on
so i guess a medium texture and high object detail should be fine
but high object quality will affect the average fps, while textures only when theres a lot of things going on on the screen

Which one directly relates to your Video Ram or GPU ram?

    Texture or Objects

    Thanks,

What are you talking about? Anything video-related passes by the VRAM nowadays.

Well, the more AA you tack on, more VRAM becomes essential.
