I could do with a BattleField from the 1940s.

An era where IRNV, TV missiles, explosive 12 guage rounds etc don't exist. I think that would be my perfect Battlefield.
    - No extras for killing sprees.
    - Increase squad to 6
    - Commander have bird's eye view
    - Only 2-3 snipers per team limit
    - Snipers limited to 4x. Sniper scopes have glare so can spot them.
    - Assault/Engineers limited to iron sight
    - No cross hair
    - No remote spawn points
    - No squad spawn points
    - No bullet drop. Just focus on ensuring people actually get hit.
    - Variety of tanks, helicopters, jets. But only one of each and they don't respawn. So better repair them good :D

    Gameplay modes

    Tug of War
    - Each side has deatmatch. No spawn, 1 kill you're don. But get this, there are 5 sections of the map. After one team wiped out you can proceed to the next part. If the next round other team wins, you move back again.
    - 5 minute limit per round. Whoever has more kills wins the round, so incentive to not camp.
    - This goes until one team reaches one end, touchdown!
    - 20 minute limit, whichever side is further wins. So you want to play, no camping!

    Nuke the Base
    - Each side has a base that is split into 3 parts.
    - A nuke appears randomnly on the map. Only one nuke spawns at a time.
    - Each team fights to get the nuke. Only one nuke available.
    - Team brings it back to their base, Capture the Flag in TF2, except when you bring back nuke to base, the nuke is launched and destroys a part of the opposition's map/base.
    - This goes on until the entire base of the opposition is killed.
    - Squad is evaluated based on most nuke captures, defense etc. So even if your squad didn't get the nuke, your squad can still get points for defense etc.

    Dodge Bullet
    - Two teams, one magic bullet.
    - Every player has an assault/carbine rifle of their choice
    - Every player has a revolver with no ammo. Revolved used to shoot the magic bullet.
    - Magic bullet spawns on the map randomnly
    - All players when you die respawn immediately at your base.
    - Each side battles for the magic bullet. Whoever gets it, load your revolver and shoot an opposition. If you are hit by magic bullet, you're out of the round. No respawn for you.
    - This goes on until game is over.
    - 20 minutes per round. Whichever side has most points wins. Each magic bullet kill gives you 3 points. So the incentive is to kill, not camping. Camping = no points. Must get magic bullet.

    Marathon
    - Run to the opposition's base.
    - Each team starts at opposite end of the map. Each end of the map is a finish line.
    - Whichever team gets most people to the finish line wins
    - 20 minute limit, each player is worth 3 points.
    - If you get to finish line, you respawn and try to get more points :D

    Progression
    - No points for individual performance. This is about team play, squad play. In this game, no one cares if you are rambo!
    - Commander on winning team gets 45 points
    - Comander on losing team get nothing.
    - Being a commander will be a gamble, do lead your team well rewarded, do badly, suffer consequence. And if you lose and get nothing, well that's because you got commander role, and it's prestigious.
    - Winning a round, each player on the winning team gets 10 points.
    - Squad play is rewarded. Squad is 6 points X placing on the team.
    - If there are 36 players, 6 squads, the squad with most points gets 36 points. 2nd best gets 30 points and so on.

Use points to either unlock a skill proficiency or a weapon upgrade. There are no player levels, you only level your skill. Better you are, less kickback on a weapon for example, sprint faster etc. Some upgrades can be passive others maybe you can only choose for the round kind of deal.

    Tower Mode
    - It's DOTA in first person view.
    - Each tower and map objective worth a certain amount. You get points = damage done to them.
    - Every player starts with a pistol.
    - Every player killed, objective done gives you points. Use points to upgrade armor/weapon as you progress.
    - For permanent points progression winning team get 10 points. You get points based on how your squad did as well.

Uh no. All my game modes are purely squad based. There is no reward for being an individual rock star.

I haven't a clue where you get any inclination this would be like COD...
