I did format a week ago, everthing went well, run the computer fine for whole week, untill today when I tried to run BF3, could play around 3min, then game froze with black screen and I had to force reboot.

The laptop starts with the screens below, blue and green, then I get the blue error screen and laptop restarts.
I can run it fine in safe mode, but if I try normal mode it's the same thing over and over.
Got it fixed with the help from Sager.

It looks to me, and I highly suspect it's a faulty graphics card issue. Maybe an issue with the VRAM or the GPU itself. Are you over-clocking it? if you have in the past, does it do this when set at normal clocks?

    I'd RMA it.

I had a kind of similar issue, playing Tera, computer just died like it lost power, turns out something had given way in the GPU. Had to get it replaced.

That is almost certainly what has happened to you.

I'd call up the company you bought it from asap, and RMA it.

The memory modules (or at least 1 of them) have died on the VGA, the entire VGA needs to be replaced. If you are out of RMA and don't have money for a new VGA, then you can try putting the VGA in the oven, it might revive it for a few months, but the chances are slim. Use Google to find a guide.

Same thing happened to me with GTX260M.

Ouch, I got extended warranty for 2 years with reseller.
I think this will be first time I have to warranty a laptop.
Too bad I will have to ship from Canada to US.

Hope everything goes well, in my experience laptop parts tend to die a lot, which is why I paid the Alienware premium. Next-day in-home service is unbeatable, my 580m burned out Monday morning, I called, they had a guy out Tuesday and fixed it. Less than 24 hours between death and fixed.

Drev has it spot on, one of your memory modules asploded. My evga 8800 ultra has done this a number of times. It has a life time replacement on it but after the 3rd replacement I upgraded to a 460 gtx. I will never again buy the best of the best because it runs to damn hot and destroys itself quicker.
