I have been playing FPS for a while and I think its time for me to go into some other kind of game play.
I’m going to be on vacation and FPS games are just not cut out for common traveler. So I need some game suggestions that doesn’t need intensive mouse use. Please and thank you :D

Oh! By the way… my laptop is a vostro 1400 with 2gb ram and 8400m gs

try RTS games like command and conquer 3 or warhammer40,000 (the dawn of war) or my personal favorites (yet kind of old) games like Warcraft 3 and starcraft (starcraft2 should be coming soon). These are really fun games and still have a storyline to follow. RTS games are also easy to unplug your self from for when real life starts tapping you on the shoulder.

If those don't suit your needs, you could also try MMORPG games like everquest 2, World of warcraft, Final Fantasy XI, vangard and etc etc... The only problem with MMORPG (for me that is) is that it's difficult at times to unplug yourself, and you always must stay close to an internet connection.

Anyways these are just my own likings. Give them a try if you like. Hope you find something you can enjoy.

Of course FPS games are fun any where, but that’s all I have been playing for the past year and also u can’t really play fps on the plane…haha. It’s time for me to go into another genre. Also I cant play mmorpg kus there are no internet tho sometimes hotel has internet but I don’t want to take that risk. Maybe I am looking for something where the story builds up, not like RTS games where each time is a different story. Maybe…a good rpg?

Civilization is a great travelling game! You use the mouse (or trackpad) but not 'intensively'. Plus you can look away from the screen for more than a minute at a time without getting shot or stabbed. (In the game - You could still get shot or stabbed in real life, especially if you're sitting next to an FPS fan.)

racing games only require the keybord, and they are usually pick up and play. you could also get a USB controller and use your FPS/racing games like a console.
