GameBoost is a tool for all that allows you to modify your computers settings to increase gaming and internet speed performance. No modifications to your hardware are made and all adjustments and settings are done in an easy to use interface that a child could use. No more frame rate glitches or slow downs can be achieved by using GameBoost with your favorite games.

Version 1.8.17.2009 has fixed bug with Windows Vista and Windows 7 which would result in the CPU performance measurement not being reported correctly.

I have been using it for some days, and its been cool. Thought I can share it to you guys, maybe you already have a post about but I didnt see it :p

    Have fun playing!

    Download From CNET folks.

I think it disable all "unnessecary" programs in the background. E.g. Anti-virus and stuff like that. I have heard it actually s you system up because it disables a lot of programs (But they get enabled again when you close GameBooster). I have heard it works good in Combat Arms, and games like that :)

I tried this out before I reinstalled Win7, and it gave me, on average, an extra 1FPS in-game.

I tested using the Unigine Tropics demo, and it gave me a score of 507, compared to the 496 without.

Not worth the trouble me thinks, maybe if your system is fairly underpowered or older though.
