Hey all, I have a HP Pavilion zd8000 ( exact model is the ZD8210ca) which is equiped with the ati 600 128mb, 3G processor, 1.25 gig ram, and a 60 gig hard drive. and now it is time I turn my efforts to the wonders of communal minds and a hope that SOMEONE...... can understand my spelling...... ha ha, with Christmas haveing just passed, I recieved the newest game called Bio shock. now I am not hard core when it comes to games but I do enjoy them. so when I trued to install , it worked fine but I cannot getthe graphics card up to snuff. I have tried updateing andapplieing a catalist for the card but when I start it up it tells me the program requires a ".net Framework" to be 2.0 and it will not run. so the question I am unable to figure out for myself is this. is it possible to get the card I have working? is it possible to have this computer's graphics card upgraded ( as far as I know it is depicted and was meant to be uped at least to 256 with ati, but I am unsure about many things)? and how do I update my ".NET Framework"? I went to Hp and saw nothing regarding sutch an aplication. thank you all for reading this and if you ahve any help to offer please do not hesitate!
thanks again everyone!

In short, no, you can't upgrade your laptop graphics card.
Here's your .net 2.0, download it and install it.

Be sure you have Microsoft's WGA ActiveX installed before you download it.
Good Luck -
run microsoft update page or just go to Microsoft's web site, u can find it over there

i'm not too sure about ur particular laptop, but i think that u can't upgrade the card to something better
after u install .net framework, try playing with the game's video settings a bit to see what's the optimal performance u can get
Gameing and .net framework
