    I have been playing Bioshock and am aware there are a couple updates for it but when I start it up, gfwl doesn't interrupt to update it. I have tried manually doing it with no luck. GFWL is up to date as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    then it must already be updated. Try to enter multiplayer. If you're missing updates, the games for windows live bar would stop you from going any further until you've updated.

    I tried to go into multiplayer and it let me. But, my version for bioshock is saying 1.0, so shouldnt it be higher if there have been updates to the game?

    Well, manually patch it then. Download the patch from the internet, and install it through Windows. Probably better to patch games this way anyway, GFWL can be a little messed up sometimes. Generally, a patch through GFWL will take much longer than patching through Windows.

    GfWL won't let you into multiplayer unless you have the latest version so don't worry about it orrite? Plus they can be really pedantic about version numbers.
