Sorry for another thread again. I have Dell Inspiron 15. Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.20 GHZ - 4 GB RAM - ATI Mobility HD 4330 512 MB DDR2 - Windows 7 Home Premium.

Can someone list some games I could run on med-high or max settings ? Preferably games from 2005-2009. I prefer these genres - RPG - FPS - Third Person Shooter - RTS - Simulation games like The Sims 2. - City Building games.

Please I really need help. Thanks.

I thought you got the laptop with the 4650 that you wanted...

And come on, you have made about 7 of these topics now, I would have thought that all the info you would need would have been gathered in those.

Look, you should be able to run just about everything, but games like Crysis and GTA IV will HAVE to be played on Low. There is no way you are going to get Crysis on High, probably not smoothly on medium.

If you really have such a problem with that 4330 of yours, you could have a look into the DIY ViDock, that will allow you to connect a desktop video card to your laptop for much more performance. A good card like a 5870 should get about 13,000 3DMarks in 3DMark06.

Another thing you could try is to overclock it for a few more frames.

Can you just please suggest some games ? I didn't say anything about trying to play Crysis on high. And TBH I'm not into Crysis. I'm more into RPGs. The reason I always make threads like this is because no one answers the previous ones. I really need suggestions. I need many of em'. Please. Thanks.

The 4330 is essentially an underclocked 4570, which is a surprisingly capable card.

My old Studio 1555 had the 4570, and it could run Modern Warfare 2 at native resolution. Not quite maxed out (no AA or AF), but most settings were okay at medium.

You should also be just fine running any Source engine games (Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, etc.)

thats the only new game really but to give you an idea Me and him both ran the passmark benchmark and overall his laptop scored about 100 points overall more than mine, and during the 3D graphics section the performance between my 8600mGT and his HD4330 were really close I think the HD4330 scored a couple more fps.

you can play bioshock 2 on an 8600mGT and I can scrape a constant 30fps out of GTA4 with low settings, about 18-25 on medium settings

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but Wouldn't it be fair to say if the 8600mGT can run it then the HD4330 should be able to run it at the same level of performance considering the passmark benchmarks were so close?

Look, what I'm trying to say is that you can run just about anything, but it will not be pretty in most cases. Most games will probably have to be run on low.
