    i just ordered a gateway with a C2D t5550 and ati hd 2600 512 GDDR3 gpu.. wondering how well (or at all) it could play CoD4, oblivion, guild wars, and/or unreal tournament 3.

    also, what driver updates should i get for it? i know nothing about drivers so in simple terms please :D

    COD4 Mid-high settings 25-35 average FPS, Oblivion i dont know, Guild wars maxed out, UT3 all sliders on 3 1280x800 i guess.

    you should check out the new drivers (i think 8.7?) they make the difference

    I think Oblivion would run on mid settings, mid high at a little lower resoultion at a decent fps. If not google the program Oldbilvion, (not a misspelling), it lets it run on older systems with gpus that support hardware TnL. Really doubt you need the program just sayin u could run it on a Geforce 4ti and up with that program. (maybe intel x3100 too?)
