Hi All,
Please suggest some recent single player (offline ) including demo games which can run easily on my system .
Thanks .
-
The Witcher immediately comes to mind, purely single player with no multiplayer component and runs on my system alright.
-
Rainbow six vegas 2, Call of Duty 4.
-
masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
call of duty 4 and bioshock. call of duty 4 technically has a multiplayer component, but the single player is good enough to warrant a purchase on its own. bioshock is single player only.
both are excellent 5 star games. -
I would definitely make sure that I played BioShock.
-
4/5ths of the orange box (TF2 is multiplayer, but you will live happily with the other 4 games' single player
CoD4, Bioshock, if you aren't into shooters then i guess any RTS out there will work, and sims are always classic..... -
-
Colin Mcrae Dirt is also a nice game. The Need for Speed series and GTA: San Andreas also comes to mind. All are mainly single player, with a bit of multiplayer.

get oblivion, if u put the textures down slightly you could probably get it onto the native resolution (1440 x 900), and it looks stunning, and gets an easy 80hours gameplay (ive played several times this thought as i am sad)
and lol good luck with crysis
i tried running it on a 8600 once...
boy that was fun -
Bioshock, Call of Duty 4 (a bit short single player wise), Command & Conquer 3 & Kane's Wrath, Half-Life 2 & Episode 1 & 2 (may as well get Orange Box for Portal)

O and back to the games Company of Heroes and Orange box, because you can get tons of mods for the source engine. -
If you are into turn based strategy, Civ4 isn't too taxing and is an amazingly addicting single layer game.
-
Rome - Total War w/ the Total Realism Mod
Pirates!
Command & Conquer - The First Decade -
you can get many DEMOS from here
