I have the zepto 6224 with 2,0 ghz, 2 gb ram, 8600 gt and vista home premium. Some games hangs up and I'll have to force shutdown. Games like c&c generals zero hour, hitman blood money and bioshock.
Sometimes the games freezes the first 5 minutes, or I can play for hours and then suddenly it freezes.

The picture freezes totally, and the sound goes on and on in repeate.
    I don't think it's a hardware issue, but i don't know. Really hope it's a vista fault or something.

    I've installed the 163.44 drivers from laptopvideo2go.com

http://www.nvidia.com/object/windows_vista_hotfixes.html <- i can't install any of this because i get this error: "NVIDIA didnt find any drivers compatible with your hardware". WTF!? WHy is that? I've got the 163.44 drivers!

The vista patches http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938194 and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938194 don't work installing either, i get errors: "this update is not for your system". (a guy said that this means that i've already installed them, and it's possible that i've installed them.

    Please help me ;\

If you allready installed the microsoft patches,it will not tell you that this update is not for your system,it will say : No update is needed or something like that. You know you have a weired problem,But I would recommend format your hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows Vista. That's my opinion..

No, it will say "This update does not apply to your system"

Dont belive me check it out yourself, install an update youve already installed before....you will get that message.

Also Ripz911 you can check that those vista updates are already installed by nothing the number, in your case KB938184, then go to control pannel >> classic view if not already done >> programs and features >> on left pane select view installed updates

there you will see that update KB938184

Many times freezes like you are talking about (where the sound keeps playing) are related to software (application) conflicts, or driver issues. Usually hardware issues will take it upon themselves to shutdown, or blue screen your system as opposed to freeze the system.

If you haven't already I'd recommend closing all background programs (including firewall and anti-virus), and make sure your drivers are all up-to-date.

(Many of the times I have seen this happen it is because an application, like the anti-virus program or firewall, is trying to steal priority from the games and the games don't like it - or will not tolerate it). :p
