    does anyone knows if vaio s460 can run high end games as doom 3?

    I'm an winning eleven soccer addicted, does anyone knows If I can run it there?

    Your graphic card is Geforce Go 6200 128mb right?

    if yes , you can run Doom3 at a low setting to medium setting.

    Playing BattleField2 on my S460 is stable at 1024x768 res at medium settings with 2x AA. I can play older games like Ghost Recon and BF1942 at max settings. Just rec'ed HalfLife2 Collector's Edition (half price @ Amazon). Will have to report back. How much RAM do you have? If you plan on gaming, I'd recommend maxing out the RAM w/ 2 GB of 533 Mhz DDR2. I did and it's def worth it.

    Yes, you should be fine running Doom3 at, probably medium settings, SVGA or XGA resolution. I play on my Hypermemory X700 at XGA on "High".

    HL2 runs good on my X700 too.

    Yes, definitely get 1 to 2 gigabytes of RAM, since the video card will be borrowing a bunch.
