    Hey guys, I need some games like CSS that are fun, lots of action, fast-paced,etc...

    I've tried FEAR...BF2...Insurgency,COD,COD2 but nothing gives me the same joy as CSS, what do you guys recommend? I would like the game to be modern, not too old or in the future...thanks!

    America's Army used to be pretty fun. might try that, considering its free. Nothing is really as fast paced as CS though. Waiting for Team Fortress 2 to come out when HL2: Episode 2 is released myself.

    I used to be a hardcore FPS player, since nothing good has come out, ive been playing WoW to hold me off for a while. Gonna switch to Age of Conan, or Warhammer Online once they are out.

    I have trouble believing Crysis will be as fast paced. If the multiplayer is done correctly it should take full advantage of new terrain and more intricate gameplay. CS is just an "arm yourself then run like hell" FPS which is ridiculously simplistic and addictive (I've been playing since...I dunno, 2000 so I can attest to it's addiction factor). As it stands right now I'd like to see Crysis take the place that Rainbow Six vacated as the deliberate FPS since Vegas is an unbelievably run and gun strategy-free game compared to it's predecessors.

    EDIT: And forget AA, it's just annoying and quickly boring. Forget "realistic" it's about the most unrealistic shooter I've ever played.

    UT2k4 was my favorite game for a long time. Its kind of old now, but looks pretty decent. U can probably pick it up for like 10 bucks. Its a total twitch skill game. and theres a lot of different game modes.

    Insurgancy is hardcore. Plus you need to get used to the idea of teammates shooting you in the back when ever they feel like it in public servers. Oh and controlling your blood pressure if you team is being spawn camped.

    try Quake 4 mate or Prey. They are the fastest FPS games i know....
