I got a HP Vivienne Tam recently and games are not fitting screen. Most drop off bottom of screen, some are windowed and still drop off bottom of window. And some give errors when starting. One game starts up full widescreen but then the background has yellow lines up and down it? I upgraded flash, but didn't help.

I can only get one to work properly. It has black bars on left and right but otherwise fits the screen top to bottom.

How do I get my other games to do this? I mainly bought this PC for light gaming.

All but one game are hidden object games which require low specs.

    Your problems are probably:

    Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 950
    and
    10.1" diagonal SD LED BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display ( 1024 x 576)

What games are you trying to play?

Make sure the required resolution for the games is <1024x 576. This means games that require 800x 600 are taller than the screen.

How do I know what required resolution is for a game? I am hoping the Samsung N120 will work better since its resolution is 1024x600.

Games are hidden object games. For example one says requirements are 800mhz, 128ram, direct x 7.0. Most of the games have similiar requirements.

Sometimes it says in the minimum requirements. But if you hook the computer up to an external monitor and try to run a game and it works there but not on the netbook's screen, that makes it a little more likely to be a screen resolution issue.
